How to create tilable sculpts for micromeshing

Hi there,I would like to create a scale armor. I tried noisemaker at first but was not absolutley happy with the results. So antoher option would be micromeshing it. I have some examples for chainmail but how do I create tilable scales? Are there any tools to make sculpts tilable? “Brush Wrap” was something I found. However I used masking and extractm, deformation to create single scales and then copying and arranging them. The result looks good but it’s hard to get a tilable version. Any proposals?TIA,Alex
