I used a material and than I tweaked some settings but I didn’t save it as a new material. So now I would like to apply that same material from the session that is still on a model but I would like to apply it to. a different part of the model, so how do I get my settings back ? is that possible ? I already have 2 subtools with that same material but how do I copy material from one subtool to another ?Thanks
If you click and drag from the large material thumbnail onto the canvas, your cursor turns into a picker. Mouse over a part of the model that has the desired material and let go. The material palette will automatically select that material. You can then save it, as well as apply it to other parts of the model.
