My system defaults to 128 I would rather it be 16 or 32 for this project.

The Dynamesh settings are saved on a per subtool basis, and are not a scene or global setting. I’m not aware of any way the defaults can be changed.
You could run a script or macro on demand that sets the desired values, or save a tool with the desired settings and start every file from that tool. However new subtools would still have the default values.
Thanks no big deal I thought it could save me a click. I am sculpting an ecroche so I will be creating a bunch of subtools.
