Hi all, I am still very new to ZBrush so please bear with me 
I’m working on my first project, an alien head. I have saved it and all if fine. I then started working on the eyes in a fresh document, save it when I’m satisfied ,all good.
So today I decide to work on the project a bit more, first I load the head, but I cant work out how to load the eyes I saved. I try to load them but they just replace the head. So I try to use the subtool menu and add them that way but it just gives me the basic options and not my eyes.
I’m sure its something simple but I just cant work out how to do it 
You didn’t say how you saved the tools. You can save them as a Project file (File > Save As) or as a Ztool file (Tool > Save As). If just working on Tools, it is better to save the Ztool (Tool > Save As). I will assume that you saved them as Project files.

Open the Head project file then save the Tool (Tool > Save As) to a location you can remember.

Open the Eyes project file then click “Load Tool” in the Tool palette. Locate the Head ztool you saved in step 1. As soon as you do that you will notice that the eyes subtool was replaced by the head subtool. Don’t panic! the eyes are still in the Tool palette.

With the Head subtool on the canvas, in the Subtool palette, click “Append” and select the eyes from the pop-up. You now have the Head and Eyes together.
