how should I get started?

Hey guys,
I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but anyways:
I am fairly new to zbrush and but I have watched many tutorials already (special thanks to cannedmushooms ^^); however, I dont have an artistic background and as I am a beginner everything I try looks like the work of a beginner obviously.
So the obvious solution is to practice, but when I tried to get started I realised that I have no idea of anatomy. Then I thoght: even if I had, I wouldnt have the skill to make use of that knowledge.

So my point is: what would you more experienced guys recommend me doing as a first step? Try to copy other peoples work? Or doodle on my own? Make my own project and tackle the difficulties step by step?
How did you start?

cheers

edit: woops, just found the questions&troubleshooting forum, sorry :stuck_out_tongue:

hello

you can co to www.picktorrent.com and write [zbrush tutoreals] and some good tutoreals will pop up

or you can PM me what you want to make and i will try my best to show you how i would make it:D

you can do things like weapons, wooden things etc… you practice how to use zBrush. You get better and you do not need anatomy. When you can do simple things in zBrush, you can start doing things like anatomy…

Start here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=99919

After that there’s a tutorials PDF in your ZBrush 4\Documentation folder.

thanks for the suggestions
