For me ill be doing it as a hobby.(need a new hobby)But who knows how it will turn out in a couple of years if iam any good :lol:

Hobby, sit in your room alone, making zbrush illustrations of ducks
having their way with squirrels. You shut off the computer when you
hear others approaching ( you rascal!)
There is a middle ground:
Does not pay the rent, but you have made money through work produced
or skills acquired.
Put me in the middle.
LoL iam not looking at this to make $$$, I’am co-owner of a business so i dont need $$$ from doing stuff in zbrush just going to do this for a hobby.

I would also put myself in the middle. I’ve done work both for fun and profit. Plus you would be surprised how much demand there is for images of ducks having their way with squirrels.
I have only found requests for squirrels having their way with ducks. In fact, squirrels with duck. Rendered in Maya, not my thing.

I am aiming to be more in the middle too.
As a digital illustrator I made a ‘milk-splash’ using ZBrush recently. But I also use ZBrush for an art project, so I make money with it for commercial projects if needed, and I also use it for non-payed personal projects.
