How do you save a screen shot?

hello to all.I was wandering how you save a pic of your working screens on Z?
Thanks

on your keyboard there should be a button that says print screen… once you press that button it should save itself in your clipboard…try to check out your os help files to make sure…

Of course, once it’s in your clipboard, you then have to take it to a paint program like Photoshop to paste it before you can copy anything else to your clipboard (unless you want to lose the screen capture). From there, you can crop it and save it as a jpg to show online.

Thanks Dr jjwow and Aurick, that was something I wanted to know too

Thank you Dr.jjwow and Aurick once again I have wanted to know that now for sometime and can’t believe I had never seen that button before now. Thanks

If you are on a Mac the key combo command-shift-4 will give you a crosshair. Simply use the crosshair to draw a box around the bit you want to save and like magic, when you release the mouse or stylus you will have the screen shot saved to your hard drive as a pict file. This can then be imported into photoshop to save as a psd or whatever.

BTW the Key combo Command-shift-3 will capture the entire screen and save it without you having to do anything else at all.
