how do you rotate a ring on either axis with Transpose Tool?

Hello,

I like using the Transpose Tool over the new Gizmo. But… I can’t ever figure out how to rotate ring shaped subtools in more than one axis. It’s probably just me but I can always rotate a ring shape on one axis, but I can never seem to “flip” the axis in the other direction I need.

I’ve tried laying out the transpose line on all the different sides of the ring but I still can’t flip the ring.

So what I mean to do is this.

Let’s say you had a ring laying flat on a table…

I can stand the ring up… but I can’t turn it 90 degrees once it’s stood up. Hope that makes sense.

It all depends on your point of view. This plugin should help with that.

I got the plugin working and it’s really awesome.

I just wish the plugin had an “undo” command. I don’t see one yet.
