How do you draw eyelids?

First of all do you guys use dam standard brush to draw a crease or you just sculpt with like a standard brush naturally creating a line?
And secondly I usually do not have enough resolution to draw an eyelid. I tried 9 million poly counts but it’s still grainy. How do I make it high res just a specific area?

Both, and more besides. It’s never a matter of using a single tool, but a variety of tools to layer different effects. For me, anyway. Dam standard is good for chiseling in those deep creases, clay tubes can also be used to create harder edges and creases, standard and Inflat for when you need to increase mass gently, and always smoothing as you go.

Be sure that you’re working around an actual eyeball as a separate subtool. Otherwise it will be difficult to get the curvature correct.

If working without subdivision levels, you can use Sculptris Pro mode, which will add geometry in real time where you’re working.

Otherwise, this is going to be a matter of mesh discipline and good topology. At the lowest level of subdivision, high detail areas like the face should have more polygons than low detail/low scrutiny areas elsewhere on the mesh. That way when subdivided this effect is multiplied, and those high detail areas have much greater detail potential even at the same polycount as you’re working with now.
