How Do I Sculpt Symmetrical On A Asymmetrical model?

How Do I Sculpt Symmetrical On A Asymmetrical model?

Generally speaking, you can’t. A mesh must be symmetrical along an axis for you to sculpt symmetrically on it. Symmetrical sculpting should be accomplished before you rotate a mesh non-symmetrically.

There are some exceptions.

Poseable Symmetry can be useful for sculpting on a topologically symmetrical mesh that has been posed non-symmetrically. It has limitations though.

Local Symmetry (L. Sym) can be enabled to sculpt on a mesh that has been offset (but not rotated) away from the Tool center by using local subtool’s center instead.

Tool > Geometry > Modify Topology > Mirror and Weld can be used to force mirror any mesh across a selected axis to force it into symmetry.

I’ve tried the options below’ I’m gonna have to redo the model luckily i haven’t gotten too
far with it yet

Thanks for the advice
