How do I export the alpha texture together with the OBJ?

Hi all,

On my mesh, I use the Standard Brush and loaded it with “Alpha 11”, one of the alpha textures that came with ZB, and used that to sculpt some details on my mesh.

However, it seems when I export the mesh as an OBJ and load it into Cinema 4D for rendering, the alpha texture that I sculpted don’t seem to be there.

Do I need to generate a normal map for this?

I always thought if we sculpt on the mesh with alpha texture, those textures are actually part of the mesh. No? :o
