How do I clear out the meshes from the pop up selection when using append button

I have been doing a lot of booleans in Zbrush.

After I make a boolean I click append in the tool pallette to retrieve the boolean.

Upon clicking append I get the pop up of a list of “quick pics” and “meshes” .

How do I clear out this list of meshes, it contains many booleans I have made previously and no longer need.

Thanks

The little “R” button at the top of the Tool palette will reduce the clutter. (It’s the lower “R” button of the two, next to the item info slider.) The button only resets the Quick Pick selection though, the items aren’t removed from the Tool palette. To do that you need to select each and press Tool>SubTool>Delete.

Hi Marcus, Thanks for that response.

I have tried the “r” button, but that just clears out the items in the tool pallet.

I want to clear the list of meshes that appear in the pop up menu when you click on the append button in the tool palette.

I would take a screen shot but since it is a pop up I can not.

This pop up menu has three sections Quick picks, Meshes, and 2.5D Brushes.

I want to clear the Meshes from this pop up menu as some projects have a lot of Booleans that I have made previously
while working on the project, and since they are showing up in that menu they must be stored in the project and taking up unnecessary space.

Thanks
Susan

You have a couple of options.

  1. Select the extra meshes you have in the tool panel and then go to tool>subtool>delete all. Use this if you have a lot of other things that are stored in the .zpr that you need to keep.

or

  1. Save out a .ztl of your actual working tool and then start a new zbrush session and simply open that tool. Then save out a new project without all the extra meshes. Use this if you’re just wanting to clean out unwanted meshes but don’t need any other information.

Thanks Beta!
