How can i sculpt through the subtools?

Hi

How can i sculpt through the subtools like the transp is on, but without it?

Zbrush kind of masking the face under the deactive subtool.

Thanks and sorry for noob question, i searched a lot and couldn’t find an answer.

Currently possible. Didn’t work for me with just Transparent. Seemed like it should have. I did work after I turned Ghost on though.

ZBrush is completely able to do this with few problems.
If for example you have two tools, a human head and a pair of eyes, and the eyes are the active subtools you should be able to sculpt the eyes through the head as long as you can see what you click on when you start sculpting. This is because of what you are clicking on, however:
With Transparent on you need to do the same thing, BUT with Transparent and Ghost on you can sculpt right through the back of the head with the eyes on the far side.
Just think!
You don’t even need a bone saw!

Anyway, yes, its possible.
Perhaps Transparent and Ghost aren’t ideal but they do work rather well for a lot of stuff.

Also Xpose can be helpful, though thats a bit different.

Thanks guys, I really preferred that there was an option for that, but if there isn’t I will ignore it

You can set the opacity in front and behind which is helpful
