I’m a newbie but have you tried masking? Hold ctrl and highlight the very tips of the blade. Then while still holding ctrl click on the masked area to smooth it.
you should add extra edge loops close to the sharp edges
the best way would be to add support loops to the edge you’re trying to make hard
Working at your lowest subdivision level, create polygroups that meet along the edges you need to keep sharp. (Do this by using the Lasso select to hide parts of the mesh, then press Tools>Polygroups>Group Visible to create a polygroup.) Once you have create the polygroups select one at a time (Shift+Ctrl+Click a group) and press Tool>Geometry>Crease to crease its edge.
Having creased the edges they will remain sharp when you subdivide.
