I am using constantly few palletes, such as subtool, geometry, layers and every time i have to look for them and expand them. Time waster. Anyone has solution for this? I have heard that custom UI are quite essential for zbrush, but internet is full of crap to test every single one. Is there some good UI which stand out and you might recommand?
Make a macro that runs through all the things you expand and have that run at start up (might not work as you’ll have to have an active mesh for the menus to line up correctly). Or I would just make a button out of it.
Is it possible to expand those palettes through hot keys?
You can do it with a macro which you can assign a hotkey to. There’s one in this thread which you could easily edit to open the sub-palettes you wanted. If you need help, let me know.

My UI is posted as well as a bunch of perhaps useful scripts in link below this post.
Some items are from the Deformation palette. Some may depend on Macro files which you may or may not already have.
Active mesh in Edit mode is necessary for UI to display properly(as well as files being in the correct locations)
