sry i’m pretty new here, i’ve been meaning to ask is there away to devide my mesh polygons ?
the case is i’ve a meash and i used alot of dynamesh and i also used the decimation plugin on it, and the result is a figure full of traingles instead of quad polygons and i want to group the polygon but the problem is that i cann’t because after decimation there are alot of big polygon next to small polygon and when i try to gourp them i end up choose areas that i dont want so i’ve been thinking is there a way to divide the mesh to by any means to group only the polygons i want ?
P.S: i think it’s bossible through slicing the mesh and then attaching the sliced part again but i dont know how to do that.
