Hi everyone, I had this issue, I need to know how to edit a curve path, moving around, fixing the direction, etc, before applying the brush stroke, It seems that as soon as the curve path is moved, the brush is applied and left a stroke that is not what I want. i need to know what I’m missing here Thanks in advance
Hi @Velix
Make sure Zadd and Zsub are both turned off. Then choose your settings in “Stroke > Curve”.
Hi ZBER2 Of course, it works perfecty! You are a life saver. Thank you so much, something small but so important in Zbrush logic.
Hi @Velix ,
If you have a live curve brush, the stroke will be re-applied with the current settings when you click on the curve. However you can change settings and re-apply the stroke again after you adjust the curve.
It’s also useful to know that you can create a live curve with other features in the program besides the brush, and then switch to the brush to create the desired stroke.
So you could, for instance, use the Topology brush to draw out exactly the curve that you want, edit the curve using that feature, then switch to the desired brush to apply the stroke to the live curve. Likewise you could use a feature like Stroke> Curve Functions> Frame mesh to create your live curve, then switch to a curve stroke brush to apply it.
