Fun Facts about Horn-Eyed Ghost Crab :
They can run sideways at up to 10 miles per hour.
They are only semiterrestrial and need to maintain moisture in their gills to breathe oxygen.
They are omnivorous and eat anything from plants, insects, worms, to turtle eggs and hatchlings.
They communicate with each other by drumming their claws, waving their antennae, and making rasping sounds.
They can change their color to match their surroundings and avoid predators, but also have sharp pincers to defend themselves.
