a few days ago i read some news about a new holographic print technology, which results seems to be very interessting for 3d artits, who want to present their full color work not only on paper or videoscreen in 2d, but “the way its meant to be” in some sort of 3d-media. Just do a youtube search for “3d terminator poster” or have a look at

Ive also seen some pictures of a 3d-poster done by meats meier on his internet-site, and i think its worth a look

Does anybody know something about this technology? Is it worth the interest? or is this like this bad-quality stuff that were on all the game-cards in the early 90s? What does it cost? is it available for private users allready?
