Newbie here and I tried searching for an answer but couldn’t quite find the issue i’m having. I’m following a pluralsignt tutorial on hard surfacing and the instructor is adding an H-Cylinder to a polymesh and merging them by unmasking. I have done this multiple times with Dynamesh with non h-objects but i’m having this issue when I try:

I’m clearly doing something wrong…and i’m sure it’s basic and simple and i’m just missing a step somewhere along the way.
I searched google and here and the closest problem someone was having was because they weren’t using the dynamesh not h object.
