Is there a way to bump up the accuracy of the slice curve angle? I would like to cut at a 22.5 degree angle, but I can only see whole degree changes when I move the cursor around.

I am not sur if it can help you or not,
but maybe import as background (or spotlight) an image of a graduate circle (360°),
then use it when you want to make your slice.
