High res 3d printer development/ CALL FOR DIGITAL SCULPTORS

Hi Everyone!

We are developing a low cost High resolution resin/polymer 3d printer, that will be available in 2 weeks in Indiegogo crowdfunding site.
We are having a lot of success in our prints, the machine is working really nice, and the final production prototype is ready, so we are working with our vendors and manufacturers for have the machines available soon, and with the lowest price.
The printer will be on the RepRap price range (1000-1200 euros), and our chemistry “magician” have found a super high quality resin formula at very low price, actually is the cheapest resin on the market!

But we need hig quality 3d sculptures for further testing!!

CALL FOR DIGITAL SCULPTOR!!

We are selecting 5 digital sculpts, the 5 artists that pass the selection will recieve the physical sculpt at home!
The artist just have to give us permission for photography the prints, and for include the photos of the prints in the indiegogo campaign. Something like " Look at what our machine is capable to print!!! : ) "

How large a piece can be done? Will the machine have wax capabilities?

The build size is 102,4 mm x 78,6mmx 150 mm

Wax capabilities? I bet u mean if u can use it for lost wax purposes? the answer is yes. it has a clean burnout

I mean to deposit wax rather than resin, to use for jewelry and other things.
Hoped for inches but I didn’t specify. :rolleyes:
Looking for models, I may have to get busy again. :wink:

What print it is??

I can’t post photos now…But in a couple of weeks or less you will get all the info, photos in the Indiegogo campaign.

The specs are:

100 to 50 micron z layer height
100 to 50 micron in the xy plane
102,4 mm x 78,6mm x 150 mm build size

Aluminum and steel frame, high quality components. Customizable and upgradable.
RepRap price range (1000-1200 euros…but still to be confirmated)
Software will be capable of automaticall supports
Hig quality resin at low cost.

Amph: how do you compare with other 3D DIY high resolution printers?

Also, you are mentioning Euro prices. Where are you located in Europe?
