hiding and unhiding parts of your model

Hi,

I’m wondering how i can smooth the borders of what ever i have shown after hiding the rest of my model ; hiding parts of your model using the ctrl& alt click and drag, so that when i sculpt changes on it it wouldn’t clash with the rest of the model when i show the rest of the model .

Something like what the blur masking does but that can be used when hidding & unhiding parts of your model

Thanks

You might want to recheck your keys… Worry about it when you need the smoothing which is normally after spending some time defining your base mesh.

brush>smooth brush modifiers>minimum connected>put at 1

I could be wrong on the name of that, but it’s there. The default is 3.

Thank you for replying to my question

i tried going to brush - smooth brush modifiers and changing the Min connected from 3 to 1 but nothing happened

what i want is when i click shift and ctrl and i get that green rectangular is to be able to smooth the border of what is shown

like the image i have attached.

Thanks

You might have to use the slice curve brush first to get some clean lines.

i’ll try that, thanks
