hidden geometry /sculpting issue

Hey guys,
When I hide a part of the mesh ( for example the arm of a charachter) and sculpt around it then when I make it visible I find out thet the the part of the mesh that was hidden hasn’t been modified by my sculpt .
Is there an option/setting so that when I sculpt around a hidden part of the mesh , it will be modified too?

Hidden geo will never be effected.
