hey zb community
actually im going to buy me a system that works “fine” with high res modelling.i mainly use ZBrush and for some parts 3DSmax,so my question will cover any answers such as mac or pc,pre built or my assemblage?
and please suggest a professional monitor (graphically)to work with.
my budget is not "very"high,but you may change my decision on how much im going to pay.

Where abouts are you as id have to work with your currency. Do you have any idear on what your prepared to spend as a starting point?
ZBrush 3.1 isnt available for mac yet.
Macs are very costly and cannot be upgraded yourself easily.
Even graphic programs on macs crash often; take it from me, I use both a PC and Mac.
PC will be heaper if you know what you want and build it yourself. Learna bit of jargon, and you could save hundreds. You can upgrade a PC as often as you like; especially in Design, hardware gets updated every 4 months. I’d spend about £600-£800 on a system, because that way your not paying extra for labor; your building it to your exact specs, and you have a warranty on every one part.
