I was messing around using SVG to generate hex-tiled alphas a while back
and came up with these.
They may be of use to some folks.
Five BMP files at 512 size. But NOT square (work out why for yourself :D)
(Had to break the five files into 2 zips as all together they were just over
the upload limit. Sorry 'about that).

Hey. No problem folks, and thanks.
If anyone out there likes playing with hand-coded SVG (lots of you I’m
sure ;)), I’ve attached the SVG source for one of the alphas. They are
all variations on the same code.
I recommend Inkscape to render BMPs from this, use a large output size,
then scale down to get decent AA.
Firefox also works, just drag the *.svg into FireFox.
If you come up with anything interesting, be sure to post the results
back here.
