I will start by admitting that I am somewhat new to ZBrush.
I’ve a single mesh model that I exported from Maya as an OBJ, sculpted in ZBrush then exported out as an OBJ. There are approx. 51,000 verts and the file is close to 8MB. The base Maya mesh smoothed to a level 2 (matching the number of subdivions in ZBrush) has a few more verts but is only a fraction of the file size.
Does anyone know how to reduce/optimize this file size within Maya? Is xyShrinkWrap my best option? Only option?
