Help Wanted

We are looking for some one in the Monterey Bay,CA area interested in contracting 3d surface modeling. We are a unique wood furniture and wood millwork company. Many of our pieces have cnc carved elements and our millwork line is mostly CNC produced. We will provide the image to be produced as a picture or sketch, leaving the surface modeling up to you. When you are finished we will take the image into a cam program and toolpath for are carving machine. This is a great opportunity to sculpt in cumputer 3d and then see it in 3d reality. Our current furniture and millwork line can be found at www.exquisitedesigns.com. Please reply if interested.

HI,
I am CNC Programer for a Steel Mill repair company here in my home state. I do not live in your area, But I do have interest in this kind of field. I do have 3d software to produce and bring images to life. If you have a good concept artist that can produce front, side, rear, top, bottom veiws of the product you are trying to bring to life, I think I could be of assistance.

I would also like to know what format your cam program uses, So if you are interested, I can make sure I can save and export your model into that format. I am mostly experienced with 3d studio max. And I am learning ZBrush also, To be able to put special forms on objects that would literally take forever in a modeling program.

This seems like a challenge I would like to have a go at. I try to get detailed on my models just for hacking around with games. If interested, Email me the information on what format for your cam system, And maybe a sample image you would like to see come to life, and let me give it a whirl. What have you got to loose?. Email: [email protected] Please use a good subject line in Email so I don’t mistake it for Spam.

Image below was done with 3d studio max, And molded detail with ZBrush. It was created for a game that I was interested in modding with a few friends, But the team sorta flopped about a month ago. It’s not furniture, but I would think that furniture would be a breeze with the right artrist.
