I’m new to all this and I’m not sure why some of the buttons I see in tutorials are different from mine
Buttons include : texture-spotlight and the “edit mode”

You’re looking at ZBrush tutorials but are using ZBrushCore. It is always in edit mode. And it doesn’t have some features that ZBrush has.
Everything that is in ZBrushCore works the same way as in ZBrush. But not everything in ZBrush is in ZBrushCore.
