Help Needed With UVs Before Texturing !!

Hi All
I hit a snag on UV transfering from a clone that I made all the UV islands that I created in Maya on a charactor, and I brought it back into Zbrush and I tried to copy and paste the UVs to my High Res original model that has a level 6 subdivided and I get a message saying:

“Flatten is only allowed on mesh without a subdivided surface, use the copy and paste uvs”

I did this and it didnt work? am I missing a steps, procedures? I want to take my UVs from the clone with a subdivded level 1, and transfer it to the level 6 detail model , How can I ? or Can I ???

What are the steps to get the UVs over to the model with the level 6 ?

If you unwrapped in Maya just go to your lowest subD level
tool>import>select your properly unwrapped obj

done.

I used the morph UVs, and have my copied and and pasted UVs to the high res original model, so all is ok, I am just new at this
