Help needed with Palette

Hi there, i wish to create a custom palette but with the “create new menu” thing it only creates a palette wich only holds 2 items (width).

Is it possible to make a palette as big as this one?:

As you can see it has 11 items from left to right (sorry my english is bad).

So if i want to have 10 materials, i only can get this:

++
++
++
++

and i want this:

+++++
+++++
