Help ! I think i just lost my project

Hey there,

I was just having fun in Zbrush with my model, which luckily I have somewhat another version of it, but with this one, well, I wasn’t paying attention when I saved it ( I was at work and I kind of rushed it), saved it as a .zbr, and now I can’t do anything to it, not even rotate it, which makes me mad cause it’s my first time painting a model and playing successfully with lighting( tbh, it’s really a breakthrough for me) and I always save all my projects. Is there any way i can start working on it again?

Hello @Iso23

Please upgrade to the most up to date version of Zbrush–currently 2020. It contains new features and fixes, is free for registered users, and older versions are not supported.

Your issue here is most likely that your model was dropped to the canvas as Pixols. Press Ctrl-N to clear the canvas, and read this documentation on Edit mode.

You’ll need to clear the document of pixols using Ctrl+N, and then redraw the Tool.

The Tool’s thumbnail isn’t showing in the Tool palette which could be a potential problem, but it might still be there as part of the project data. There is a slider just above the thumbnails that says “SimpleBrush. 2”, drag this all the way to the right to see if the Tool you were working on is at the end of the list.
