Begin with downloading zbrush’s practical guide ( and the demo version of zbrush of course!) Study about modelling with sphere 3d to get familiar with the sceptic of the program.Then got to the zsphere modelling section and begin to model it.After that sculpt your model. Don’t expect for someone to model it! Stand on your own feet!:rolleyes:

It’s funny to see this post, because yesterday I saw this new forum from aaron sims, and he posted few concept drawings for people to model. Yeah I know hes a well known artist in character desing and modeler, but common he might be asking for some reference in how to model it. Is not that you do the work for him. This zbrush community is also to help each other out. (Thats my opinion!!!)
Hey but if you want to have a better understanding on how to model, you can check out this DVD by Glen Souther. You can find it in amazon.com or go to www.kurvstudios.com. If I a have some time, ill give it a try. Try to find out a bigger picture or if you dont mind to make a bigger sketch with more angles of the sculpture. Also like somebody said in one of the posts before mines; you can study how zpheres work and also if you know any other 3d package like Maya or Xsi, etc, you can model most of the sculpture there and export the mesh to zbrush. Last thing! If you starting with zbrush I recommend you to start modeling with something more simple and then when you get the handle of it, model that which it’s a lil more complex.

Well this inspired me to goof off a little bit with the Hindu god theme…so I made a little idol of my own…(feet credits to Pusghetty)…
Some of the pieces are off mark, but this was a doodle and cough cough,I wasn’t wearing my glasses while working on it…ooops…the world on the computer looks so much more different with my glasses on…grrrrrr…

I agree with Zoe…but it is definitely possible…though the object is detailed, it’s not detailed realistically so it’s not that difficult of a thing to emulate/copy…
the ears always crack me up on the primitive statues…elephant? or overtly jeweled?
but…
I will doodle around and see what I can come up with …gives me something to do while waiting for sleep to find me on this very cold evening (cold fall day…my type of weather)
