HELP for 3DMAX desplacment map (Moved to Q&T Forum)

yeagh hi i have been having trouble with importing the desplasment map from zbrush to max i have al the steps in the picture since my english sucks step (1)i modled the head in max
(2)unwraped the model with no streching or overlaps
(3)i exported the head with max2obj but before that i resat xform
(4)i made some things to the model and exported its desplacment map and the model back to max,i saved the map as tiff format and also as psd and jpg (does it matter in which format it is?)to see which one will work
(5)i get this error when i try to get the tiff map in max i dont get it :confused:so i used the psd one
(6)this is the map in psd format i placed it in the depacment slot in the maps and i fliped it around (v:-1.0)and played with the rgb offset and as u can see in step (7)thats what happens.
can someone help me out here i have been trying everything i looked in alll the topics and nothing.i even downloaded pixolaters head modle and tryed it out it worked fine but with my model it would not work thanks for all the help
