Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve recently upgraded to ZBrush 2018. The bottom right shelf is off screen - it’s clipped by the ZBrush main window. Is there a way to make this smaller or a key command to allow scrolling on the shelf? I can’t reach some of the buttons in its default state.
Ok, I found a way to resize the buttons in preferences>interface>ui>button size. The lowest setting will show a few more. I still can’t see all of them…
Hold Ctrl and drag to scroll.
Thanks, but this appears to have no effect.
Cryrid is right. It will scroll. You have to be beside one of the buttons, you cant be on top of a button. The problem is that the space is very small. Hover beside one of the buttons until you get an up/down arrow, then hold Ctrl and drag. What you could do to widen that shelf is enable customize and go to Preferences > Custom UI and drag one of the wider spacers over to that shelf to give more room to grab it. You could also just move one of the buttons so they would be side by side on that shelf. You can also move all the lower buttons so they are all visible and you won’t need to scroll at all.
BTW, what screen resolution are you running at? Minimum is 1280 x 1024.
This shows what the cursor looks like when you can Ctrl+drag to scroll.
Ah, ok! I didn’t clock the hovering and waiting for the up/down arrow. Thanks for the explanations everyone.
how can i fix this i need full screen i mean the full shelf i cant see the remain icon
Thanks a lot Cryrid… I’ve been looking for this answer for a while now
Same, can’t rearrange the scrolling toolbar/shelf? I accidentally placed an item too wide and it made the shelf expand larger than the width of the right pallet…
Making my work space impossibly small. Idk what to do about it, I spent a lot of time trying to make a workspace that actually worked with me and now I can’t even use the UI I have been using.
It’s really awful.
