The project was inspired by the movie “Colorful Stage! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing” and the finale song “Hello, SEKAI” by DECO*27. I wanted to capture the central plot line of becoming the hand which pulls you up from the bottom of the ocean mixed with Miku being mid-transformation from her closed-off design to her open design.
The model was created only in ZBrush for iPad with the rendering in Blender and the Compositing in After Effects.
