Hellboy Bust

Hey everyone!

So, this is my take on Hellboy.

I wanted to do a Hellboy for a long time, so I did this bust, since I’m also digging into 3D printing. It was rendered in a way that I’m not used to: in Zbrush and then comping the passes in Photoshop.

I remember watching a tutorial for rendering in Zbrush a long time ago (https://vimeo.com/74370012) , also learning some techniques with Rafael Ghencev and Grassetti, which are the same from the video. It’s “similar” (BIG quotes here) to Raytracing renderers (when you have to build the final image form the AOVs), but you have to build the GI look, since there is no GI in Zbrush. It’s not realistic, but kind of looks nice.
