Height map

Hello
I’ve taken this texture in ZB 1.55 (mac) and am adding some depth to it. Is there any way I can turn the depth info into a height map for use as a bump/displacement map in C4D?
Thanks
Sav

if your ZB image has z depth, yes you can. Try: Alpha>GrabDoc the zdepth will be turned into a greyscale alpha, representing depth.

Thank you
Couldn’t find anything like that in the Alpha pallet? I see the MRGBZ grabber does this but I seem to have to drag select an area rather than just capture the whole doc at its current size, is there another way? (I am reading through the manual too :))
Thanks
Sav

Version 1.55 does not have the GrabDoc button. You’ll need to use the MRGBZGrabber and capture the canvas by dragging. You’ll get an alpha and a texture. The alpha contains the depth information, and is what you want.

OK Thanks Aurick
