head from alpha file

check out this head i made with a depth map of a head. so i’m getting a 3d model from a single 2d photograph. all i had to do was import the depthmap as alpha. then do 3d plane to polymesh. i divided 2 time for a total of 3 levels. then under displacement i set mode on and upped intensity to about 2 then did create dispmap then i did apply dispmap. then got what looks like a model i did in a 3d program. but, its not as smooth as i wasnt. anyone have any ideas how to smooth out the resullts during the process?
i have to thank ryankingslien for putting me in the right direction on the displacement idea. thanx man.

heres the depth map and the final image.headalpha.jpg

is it a rgb 8 bit or 16 bits?

If its 8 bit, you dont have enaugh infornations, and its not smoothed.
Its seem you put the displace level a bit too high, lower it should smooth the result…

Sebcesoirs right but i think the problem here is not enough resolution. try dividing it a total of 6 times. I find 6 is a magic number. you will need lots of polys to get a smooth look. everything in zbrush is dependent on resolution.

glad I was able to help.
