I am trying to model my face in zbrush and I have the snapshot planes up with my front and side face…I am having a very hard time manipulating the adaptive skin zsphere that i am working because i cant tell where the verts are…I am a max user and I just usually put EDGE mode on in the viewport and within the material I turn the opacity down and then I can clearly see my edges…for the life of me I cannot recreate this clarity in zbrush and I find myself playing guessing games with the model…does anyone know a good setup for this??? or do artist use max or maya when they are trying to match up to images and then import into zbrush?
I am assuming you’re talking about grids.
go to draw.fill mode
I find fill mode 3 is best for my workflow. It also gives you more options down below for control over your wireframe when using mode 3,
See if any of these are more to your liking.
I tried that but not sure what the best material is to have the edges show up so I can see whats going on…
when i turn the opacity all the way down within the enhance opacity the edges fully disappear… Im just trying to get the edges to show up nice and white so I can what Im doing…any ideas. You can change the color and thickness of the wireframe in the Preferences>Draw sub-palette. Change the selected color to white and then click on the Pf Color swatch. Set the Pframe slider to 100 for thickest lines.
