Hi @johiko
This video demonstrates a number of useful techniques to address shortcomings when projecting detail.
tks, solving the issues, later mate
well, ive tried both ways, but i cannot project all the details, if you have something else, it ll be very nice, later and tks again.
What detail are being lost? The only difference I can discern between the two images is the slightly more jagged edge of the fingernail, and the somewhat more abrupt transition around the cuticle, which should be able to be eased with the technique shown in that video. The edge of that fingernail is just a really thin section of geometry, and you may have to live with it and touch it up manually.
Remember, the target mesh has to have been subdivided enough to capture the incoming detail. If you don’t think the detail is crisp enough, try delivering more resolution to the target mesh, either through subdivision, or more efficient topology.
ye, again i ve managed to make it works, a better retopoly for the places that need more detail and for the fingernails i had to reduce the long of the nails, now im getting a fands error, gonna see what can i do, i ve tried the process in the video but it is better if you make a better retopoly and add material to the target mesh before the projection, that step ended well, now getting this

is this a uv issue, the line that is cutting the mesh?
