Harrison Ford - New to Z Central

I am trying to get a strong harrison Ford pose, but I am having trouble. It seems that when I begin to change him for a pose I lose his likeness, anyone have a critique to help me, thanks.

Some likenesses are ellusive.

I remember an interview on Much Music here in Canada in which two men were being interviewed to promote a movie. One guy was doing all the talking and the other guy was just sitting there looking bored. In fact, I wondered why this second guy, who looked so old to me, would be interviewed on Much Music at all. To cut to the chase, it took me a full two minutes before I realised that the second guy was in fact Harrison Ford. So sometimes even Harrison Ford doesn’t even look like Harrison Ford. Just look through the photos on the IMDB database and you should get my meaning.

you are starting really good, my advice for you is to get a similar pose of him and use it as a reference image, it would really help a lot.

Thanks for the comments guys, I appreciate them. Yeah my source image that I am using is pretty weak, I guess I should find a better one.

Rav, it’s coming along.
I always cruise through the Internet Movie Database for this kind of scrap=

enjoy-

edit: is this too long ago for your project? True, he’s accepting older parts lately, but I think he really hurt himself on an elephant and swore off the action parts. Maye it’s an urban legend or tabloid pap but anyways, the skull never lies-- study the skull, Luke:

Ey!! this is a new indiana jonnes for the new movie?jeje;)
this is go to good way:+1:

Hi Ryan,

These are stuff I like. I can see the modeling skills right away.
Believe me, I didnt see the title first but I knew directly what I saw.

Some people show us end results where the textures makes the final image, while here, I can see the similarity right away.
And with texture, I mean that people simply uses photos and project them ontop of the mesh to hide the actual not-so-good-modelled character

Well done here!

i deff like what you have going on right now. i can tell that’s indie, good job.
but i would deff work on the pose. right now he looks lost.

Thanks, for all of the compliments. I am a student getting ready to graduate and this is one of the assets that I plan to put on my demo reel. It is re-assuring to get such positive critique, since my next task is to find a job in this extremely competitive industry. Here is an update on the pose, I think it resembles him much better. Thanks for all of the help. Ryan
