Handsome Harry - demon guy - nwargasm

Hi guys,
It was fun to start everything in zbrush for this one, keeping the arms, torso, head, and legs as all seperate zspheres and moving them around, working with them until i got something i liked. I’m terrible at illustration and my concepts aren’t the best and this subject matter is a little generic, lol :(. But it’s still fun to do this kind of art. It’s nice to be able to create model pieces so fast in zbrush to help with 3d concepting. I’m feeling like i will put this model aside now and work on a weapon model for him. Then pick him up again and do the textures, rigging and posing. It’s a good time for some feedback before i get back into it.

(haha, need some word wrap here.)

Looks great, saved to the inspiration folder :).

Very nice indeed.

Reminds me of the Devil character from Legend.

The hooved feet are crying out for a kind of high heeled shoe, maybe a horses shoe with a back piece that encorporates the heel spike?

Love the tactical blurring over his Daemonhood

thanks guys!

Haha, i’m a joker. There’s no phallus, it just makes me laugh to put a censor spot there.

I’ll look at some animal hooves reference, that could help.

I did some texture painting and color blocking in Zbrush and rendered it. Cavity mask is a life saver.

Yep …awesome! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

How do you create different silhouettes to explore the character concepts during the design process in ZBrush?

Looks beautiful dude

Thanks guys

NPacittiART: you can get pretty far fast with zspheres, trying different shapes. Keep it low res in the beginning and work up from there. You can also work in segments. This guys arms and hands and head and chest were all separate pieces. Once I was somewhat satisfied I created a new mesh and transfered the details from all the parts to one or two meshes and cleaned it up.

Love it :+1:
