Hands

Hi :smiley:

The base mesh is made in Zbrush, with some minor topology changes in modo. Details in Zbrush as well as texture. The render however is pure Modo. It was quite a challenge for me to render it, as I have absolutely no experience when it comes to organic rendering/lightning.

hands… well they probably are the most difficult things to sculpt… they can express so much and look so wrong with just small inadequacies…

i like the idea and composition but the hands do not look right to me… not enough flesh in the palms, the posture looks awkward… but i take it you are only starting and that means it is a promising beginning… keep it up!

edit: looked at them again and some more things to say: the thumb is very thin, you forget the lines on the inside of the hand. keep posting updates though, i really want to know how its coming along.

and i DO LIKE the SSS material on the last render ^^
