Hakuna Matata

… Hakuuuuna Matata!

I have been wanting to sculpt these characters for a while. The original movie was an instant classic and still holds up today as it did back then.
The team did an amazing job bringing the story to life through these loveable characters.

I can hear the exact moment of music in my head when I see these poses.

Lovely! :+1:

Lovely works Jimmy, each with so much character, natural flow, looks simple when done but it’s these characters that are the hardest, getting the volume and proportions correct is so hard, so important to get it right. Well done! Congrats guys!!!
Jaime

haha, awesome, thanks Kyle!

Thank you Marcus

Yeah it is interesting to hear those few people thinking stylized is somehow easier than realism. Both presents unique challenges, these 3 fellows certainly did so for me hehe. Thank you for the kind words Jaime!

Omg amazing work! :star_struck:

Pretty much.
To do a propoer stylization, you need to determine an art direction and a feel that you wanna convey.
Additionally, it requires a proper understanding of how things look in real life so you can know how /when and what to exagerate.

Amazing work !
