I decided to create a Dimebag Darrell tribute of my own… Here are 22 of his 28 guitars - the other six have just a few minor changes on them and I didn’t want to be to redundant; on top of having to just change the color’s on the 4 Flying V’s .
After I did the 22 guitars I decided to create Eddie Van Halen’s 5150 Mean Street guitar and have a tutorial to go along with it. I should have the tutorial completed in a couple of days…
Anyway, I hope someone enjoy’s these…

Awesome. I have been wanting to model some of Eddie’s guitars for a while. Can’t wait to see the tutorial.

Hey guys thanks - I got the textures for the guitars from the Dean website; however I had to clean each one up using the Clone tool in Photoshop and polypainting. I had to polypaint out the strings, volume knobs, pickups and make the image more vibrant… plus blocking out the contrast on the photo’s - it was very time consuming… On Eddie’s guitar I repainted the whole thing using ZApplink, Photoshops - Pen Tool and Polypainting.

Oh yes indeed! Love it! Cant wait for the tut! You chose the very ax I woulda asked for! My brother and I built a replica of Eddies Git and it came out beautifully, but you even put the cig between the strings! Nice eye for detail!

Absolutely Brilliant work, I made a Fender Strat. ShadowBox and and Clipping tools are great.
