Grid size not right?

Hey all,

So I’m following a tutorial by Ryan Kingslien, and I’m at a part where he drops the object out of shadowbox and says to scale it to the size of one square unit (Which he says is the default for zBrush). For whatever reason, when I drop out of shadowbox my grid, even though it’s default, is not the same has his default.

Well that’s fine I suppose, but now when I scale it down to the size of one of my grid squares it inverts because I’m making it too small! Also, when I measure one square with my transpose tool, I get a .2 measurement, unlike him, which is a 1.

One of those images show 4r7, the other 4r2. I’m guessing the default grid size is different in each version. Not that it matters as you can set the grid size yourself. There are lots of posts here abou this, and a guide by Pixologic here: http://docs.pixologic.com/reference-guide/draw/floor-grid/

Here is another easy to follow guide for real world scale in ZBrush: https://ddankhaziportfolio.wordpress.com/2016/08/19/setup-real-world-scale-in-zbrush/
