I had this in another thread. I am trying to separate out the information from that thread and concentrate on the most pressing issue at hand. I thought that someone might want to still know this information though.
Grid changes position based off of the size of your current ZTool. Any way to make this stationary to real world coordinates? I need to know if a characters feet are grounded to the floor or not. There should be an option for the Grid to be separate from the ZTools. This way you know how far off the “ground” an object is. I’m not sure what benefits are derived from the grid in its present state, you can not snap to it and it doesn’t represent any real world coordinates.
Resolved -This was answered by support. Set the grid Elevation (Elv) to 0. This will make the grid stationary to the world. Setting the grid (Elv) to -1 will set the grid to the lowest vertex point on your model. (Active ZTool)
