Another try with the Zsketcher. just really having fun with my tablet and the 2d aspect of Z. another thanx goes out to glen southern for creating the Zsketcher! i love it! This piece was done in a little over 3 hours. any comments or tip are always welcome and really helpful! thanx in advance!

This is exellent work…I admire it very much one for the techical aspect and second for the great attention to detail and expression you have created.
Definently I think the eyes are mesmorising and the fur effect is admirable.!!

Great job and well done this is an outstanding piece of work!

Truly beautiful work, you can basically feel the coat(like you would).
Echoing another comment, the eyes are amazing.
The original impression was a photograph.

JimKing: yes i am using a wacom graphire tablet. being lefthanded, it helps a great deal, but i would suggest it to anyone. i absolutely love it!

Kircho: thanks for your comments! i really admire your work! i was basically trying to see how detailed i could get, and i am fairly pleased with my results.

Frenchy, rtyer, and matvara: thanx for the feedback it is always very encouraging! what a great forum this is!

congratulations artboy21 your artwork is in the top row. I love gorillas, the combination of skin detail and hair texture makes for a good subjecvt of study and you have done a very fine job with Zbrush. :+1:

wow i did make it to the top row! this is a big accoplishment for me, since i am relatively new to the CG world. thanx for the feedback Arran and Ron! and yes i love working with traditional pen and ink, and good old pencil. thanks!

thanks for all of the comments! it is so nice to see so many people posting replies around here.
superflash: actually i did try to put just a tiny touch of brown in the eyes, but it is kinda hard to see. maybe i will experiment with different colors.
