Hi guys,

I’m wondering what if any… laptop would you recommend for Zbrush?

Best regards,

These articles should set you straight:

I plan to get Core i7-720QM laptop with some kind of nVIDIA GPU in it for GPU-computing and mainly because I want to use Octane Render to render out my ZBrush stuffs! most of the CPU reviews over at Hardware Secrets say that Intel chips tend to have better performance with 3D geometry apps. ON the flip side AMD Phenom II 4X and the latest ATI Mobility Radeon would still be good for maybe half the price.

Oh, and be sure to include the sweet Intuos4. I’ve heard good thing about the ASUS brand and I would get a SSD drive in place of a DVD drive because ZBrush does a good amount of HD writes and SSD have better performance.

I’ve tried Zbrush on multiple laptops duo core , i3 , i5. I didn’t like it, performance got weak too fast and the laptops ran really hot.
